Review of Mean Creek (2004) by Heather D — 03 Aug 2008
Watched this for my Bible and Film class where we used this to discuss the theodicy issue (good vs. evil). It's a very powerful and well-made film--a very what-would-you-do-if-this-happened-to-you piece.
I do kinda wish that the event would have been more of a surprise, but with the way they set it up, it's very hard to do that. You kinda see it coming. But a great tale of innocence and guilt. Recommended!
