Review of Me, Myself & Irene (2000) by Tyler S — 05 Feb 2014
Carrey is brilliant in this comedy from the Ferrelly brothers. The plot is silly but it doesn't matter because Carrey steals the show. His physical comedy is brilliant here and he shows quite the acting chops playing a schizo.
One moment he is a tender hearted Rhode Island PD and the other side he has an absolute crazy persona where he doesn't give a damn; he's insulting, picks fights, and says some pretty hilarious things.
He shows awesome versatility being able to switch gears on a dime. Throw in his 3 black vulgar kids and you have a hilarious unique movie, one of Carreys best.
