Review of Me, Myself & Irene (2000) by Andrew G — 20 Jun 2010
A guy with a multiple personality disorder is meant to be a comedic start to a film. Am I meant to find this funny? Senselessly killing a cow (as an Animal Lover, this was a downright painful scene to watch); constant spewings of f**k and s**t; slapstick humour that goes too far even for Jim Carrey; unlikeable and awful characters; THIS FILM SUCKS!! I'm a fan of Jim Carrey, but this is the sort of humour I expect from Ben Stiller, not Carrey.
I found it poorly written, and I thought that the narration was really annoying and distracting.
