The meaning of the title of this film was simple: To live boldly. Lou (ME) was putting herself before Will (YOU)- the title of the film, "Me Before You." When she found Will's request that he wanted for himself, she took it upon herself to change his mind to WANT to live whereas he didn't.

She used his illness and paralysis to get away from her own boyfriend & to form a true bond and love with the one person that she could be intimate and real with & that was Will. From the moment that she and Will went on one of her "last beach vacation" up until the pont where Will took his final breath, you can feel an automatic chill going through your entire body.

Sam's actions and words just touch you & that precise moment- you can feel his hurt, anguish, loss, disgust for his condition. Everything he has ever known prior to the accident he will never be able to get back & that scared him more each and every day than facing the terrible choice to end his life because he didn't want to continue to live his life like he was.

Lou really was like Carrie from Sex & the City with all her polka dot shoes! Will had Lou's wardrobe right! It and she was something else. The movie was a real tear-jerker towards the end. Sam & Emilia really worked well together and their characters helped each other realize things about the other.

They were bold- no doubt about it! Fiercely bold!
