Review of Me Before You (2016) by Jenna G — 02 Aug 2016
Really loved the book and went into the movie expecting disaster, especially after seeing the overwhelmingly sappy/cheesy trailers for it. But it's a surprisingly solid movie. The cast is pretty good, especially McTeer & Dance as Traynor's parents.
Sam Claflin is good as Will and Emilia Clarke grows on you throughout the film. It wasn't as powerful & didn't leave me as emotional as the book did, but still a decent flick overall.
