Review of Me and You and Everyone We Know (2005) by Morten H — 24 Mar 2008
A film that really provokes a train of thought like very few. An artistic view of people wanting to live their fantasies but in fear of contaminating them. Thus the film takes glimpse of how people communicate, mostly digitally, in hopes that those fantasies can not be tampered with.
It isn't until the sense of touch is put into play that those fantasies become real. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Dark but so hopeful. A definite rarity among the likes of Solondz.
