Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Adam P — 16 Mar 2009
Linklater captures the feel of the 30s while keeping the atmosphere fresh and modern, playing on comedic sensibilities to keep the movie fun but also balancing every moment of joy with a reality check.
A completely entertaining and well-captured movie about business, art, and being young. Zac Efron (as Me) proves he can handle dramatic material, and newcomer Christian McKay (as Orson Welles) blazes up the screen every second he's on it.
