Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Clare R — 19 Dec 2009
Great independent movie, not one I would normally see if it wasn't for the Efron.
Actually, it was humorous, dramatic and romantic and there are some really nice moments in the theatre and the main character Richard goes through every emotion, and you with him.
The romance, in my opinion, could have been made more of and alot of the 30's references were lost on me, but all in all, I was shocked and blown away by Christian McKay as Orson and he steals the film, but the supporting cast are what keeps the heavy subject matter ticking over without too much doom.
Shame it stopped showing so soon and didn't have a great box office in the UK.
