The plot of "Me and Orson Welles" is admittedly slight but nonetheless should appeal to anyone who has done theater in any form. The cast is uniformly excellent, but they're all outshone by Christian McKay, who turns in an astonishing performance as Orson Welles that really deserves to be recognized (but likely won't be) this awards season.
