I love movies like this - movies that focus on a particular time in a famous person's life and deliver it as it were with the dramatic tones driven to the extreme. And the theatrical steps of Orson Wells, with the opening of the Mercury Theatre makes it all the more exciting!

I've never seen Christian McKay in a film before, and congratulations for the casting director who found him, because he's bloody brilliant. Ditto Eddie Marsan and Ben Chaplin. Claire Danes major disappointment. Not even getting into the Zac Efron thing (how did Linklater even agree to direct him, I don't know!) The guy just shouldn't be in the movie at all and boy, would it have been much better. Not Me and Orson Wells, but just Orson Wells.

But if you overlook the Efron factor for a moment, the movie is quite decent, and very engaging overall. A job well done, if I might say so.
