So I know nothing of the real Orson Welles and was not sure what to expect from this movie and it actually surprised me. I've never seen Christian McKay before but he did a PHENOMENAL job. Wow. Hell of an actor. He truly is an actor you don't see anymore. He brought the true essence of how someone would act and be like back in the 1930s. Genius.

It's a simple film taking place in 1937 where an arrogant actor Orson Welles puts on a play of Julius Caesar with a twist. He hires Zac Efron's character to have a role in the play and it shows the development of what happens in a week. From a young, naive high school boy with ambitions of making it as an actor in NYC, to the reality of the business and what it's like to fall in love with an older woman, as well as its consequences.

Zac Efron does not disappoint. He did a great job in acting in this, and actually the majority of the cast did a great job in just purely acting with typical 30's dialogue which was entertaining to watch because it is not often that you see this anymore. It's all about the action, and graphics nowadays. This film brought you back in time to what it really means to be a TRUE actor in NYC in the 30s. Not sure if I would spend money seeing this movie but it was entertaining and interesting to watch. Kinda liked it but also left me not wanting to see it again.
