Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Makayla L — 26 Sep 2010
Christian McKay is stellar in his role as Orson Welles, the problem is that the film isn't about Orson Welles. As the title indicates he is, probably for the first time in history merely a supporting player.
While an observer's point of view is probably the best way to understand someone like Welles, the supporting cast has little to do and little in the way of plot in the first place. Zac Efron delivers a decent performance, but ultimately isn't challenged all that much in the role and diminishes a lot of the potential of what this film could have been.
