Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Jonathan A — 29 Sep 2010
Enjoyable, if perhaps a bit slight. The material is elevated by Christian McKay as Orson Welles. It really can't be said enough just how wonderful he is. A near perfect imitation. Zac Efron and Claire Danes are good, surprisingly so in the case of Efron, but they feel a bit like Leo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz in Gangs of New York: main characters that pale in comparison to a truly superb supporting performance.
