Review of Me and Orson Welles (2008) by Spike V — 26 May 2011
Not sure what to make of this. It was OK for sure, but nothing amazing. I'd have preferred a biopic on Welles, but that being said, Christian McKay is phenomenal, and even bears a good resemblance to the legendary man.
The movie is based from the book of the same name, and illustrates the genius of Welles in the theatre, as well as his gigantic ego and his willingness to crush anyone who defied or disagreed with him.
Decent support acting, and Zac Effron wasn't terrible, but I'm still not sure what to make of this movie...
