This uplifting Disney family film adeptly recounts the courage of human spirit from a disadvantaged town and its farm working latino teenagers. Slightly formulaic, the narrative still excels as both coach's and athletes journey.
Most interestingly, McFarland USA features a vibrant rural Hispanic culture to weave the classic American success story.
