Review of McFarland, USA (2015) by David E — 11 Mar 2015
Even though this film has that same old "believe in yourself & never give up" tone like most sports films, it still works rather splendidly. With great acting, a feel-good atmosphere with its share of drama (it is a Disney film, after all), a plot based on a true story, & great directing by Niki Caro, "McFarland, USA" proves to be one of the best films of 2015.
