Review of McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) by Jeff O — 14 Aug 2008
Gorgeously shot, with some great music. The title is a little misleading, though, as Mrs. Miller doesn't show up until 30 minutes in, and she's absent for almost all of the climactic 25 minutes (she's in half of a 2-hour movie).
But really, who cares? Altman has a great story and he tells it well.
