Review of McCabe & Mrs. Miller (1971) by Prasad P — 23 Aug 2008
Though I'm not an American and don't see the 'revisionist' parts of this superb film clearly, there is much to enjoy and admire in Altman's grimy, character-driven, iconic western. A sense of reality and believable characters drive the story of a town in its infancy.
More an experience than a slice of storytelling, only multiple viewings will do this full justice. Brilliant.
