'Is something wrong with you or you got a turd in your pocket?' - McCabe.
Not really a western, but more like an immigrant movie, which pits McCabe against a faceless proto-corporation for the rights to do business in a small pioneers town. It is the start of Altman's mumbling, bumbling hero, who despite his lack of any heroic qualities, still shines in a corrupt and cruel world. Mesmerizing!
