Review of Mazes and Monsters (1982) by Richard B — 23 May 2008
A pretty enjoyable little film that takes it's silly viewpoints and premise and manages to be somewhat decent. It's neat to see Tom Hanks as a youngster, and he does pretty good. The movie does have a few memorable moments, like meeting the subway hobo, and when Hanks kills a mugger.
The ending is pretty awesome. Overall the movie is a thing from a bygone era, with a message that tries to show how evil tabletop games are.
