If you have read the books please don't expect this to be anything like it. The movie is actually insulting to the book which had an amazing plot line where the idea of the Scorch being a trial actually makes sense.
Also the "zombies" are not zombies in the book, at all and this makes the movie seem less terrifying than the book. Take it for what it is, an entirely new adventure and enjoy it for what it is.
