So this supposed "adaption" from the Maze Runner sequel has JUST barely enough to be called an "adaption". it really shouldn't even be called the same title...cause let's be honest, other then names of characters, it almost has nothing resembling the book.

The whole time watching this I kept shaking my head and wondering what the heck was happening...I said to myself, "Why can I not remember any of this? Why is this feeling so...off?" Even my mother, who doesn't know the actual story, said, "I'm really confused, what's actually going on - what's the point of all this?". I couldn't tell her, because I was so baffled.

Then I realized it's because almost nothing that happens in the book was actually happening in the movie....from start to finish virtually everything was different! It was almost like it had no story at all...just running from place to another, nonstop action. Which grabted, happens in the book, but none of the story that brought all that together was present at all.

After a nearly good adaption of The Maze Runner (only a few things were off there)...I had high hopes for the sequel, but wasn't able to see it in theaters --- glad I waited for the DVD relase, because this was just an utter disappointment.

Hopefully, if there is an adaption to the last book "The Death Cure", things will be a lot more explained and hold more true to the book....
