The Scorch Trials are a step down down from the predecessor. Like many sequels it suffers from deep sequelitis desease. I dont know if it just me but 15mns in the movie and I allready knew the end and above all I dont want the see the third one.
It lacks the misterie and intrigue of the first one in favour of action transforming the film in a endless running etc... It's nice to catch the story but by the looks I allready know the third one.
Probably the third one will continue the recent YA pics trend: slipt in two movies...
