Review of Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018) by Kaleb J — 04 Feb 2018
The Maze Runner's impact upon the YA adaptations being brought to life by Hollywood is transformed into a legacy with its final Installment: Maze Runner: The Death Cure. With this film, fans are left satisfied with the same amount of love from the franchise since its debut in 2014.
They're left weeping with the fall of a fan favorite, and pleased with the amount of action and mystery that made them fall in love with the books in the first place. Although this doesn't receive universal acclaim, it does what it can with strong performances, a fulfilled story arc for the protagonist, and a villain that makes you want to root for them in the end.
A compelling finale that can make you think, "What now?", Maze Runner: The Death Cure delivers on what made fans come to see the first film, and will pave the way for future young adult fiction adaptations.
