"May" is a rare creature indeed: a certified "horror" film that hits the heart more than it hits the nerves. You really feel for the title character, even if you're repulsed by her actions.
Though the film isn't exactly perfect (definently have seen better acting), Lucky McKee, like May herelf, makes something special out of the good parts.
