It's a shitty adaptation. Hell, it's not even good if you try to think of it as a standalone story. The acting was decent but the writing was awful. The effects were...honest to God I've seen better effects done by fans on youtube. O_O Did they have, like a $100,000 budget or something?

If the story was well done I could have dealt with the sub-par effects but the story was extremely disjointed and there were way too many parts where they focused on a long sequence of someone running or flying. There were parts that were /supposed/ to have been exciting but they shot them in slow mo which completely ruined it. Ugh. It's terrible. I can't believe the author allowed this to happen. :(.
