Review of Maximum Ride (2016) by Amber C — 01 Jan 2017
I thought the show had potiential, it had a great concept. However that being said, I feel that there wasn't enough character development. You sympathize with the character by knowing what they've gone through.
I didn't get enough of what they'd gone through to feel for these children. The audience identifies with characters by getting to know them and we didn't know a thing about them. The ending was splotchy and inconclusive you couldn't even come up with your own scenario or food for thought because it was lacking the nutrients for you to digest the ending.
Were they leaving it open for it to become a series? Based on this, I would never watch the series because I felt left in the dark. I'm hoping this is not and example James Patterson's best writing, because if it is, don't think I will be purchasing any of his books.
