Review of Maverick (1994) by Claire B — 09 Jan 2010
This doesn't pretend to be a smart movie, which makes it all the more fun. And that's all it tries to be, is fun. From the loose connections to Lethal Weapon near the beginning, to Jodie Foster's charming silliness, this is a rollicking comedy action movie, and it is really fun to watch.
Foster is the standout with solid performances from Gibson, Garner and Molina.
