People should watch this movie if they say they hate Nicholas Cage. People should watch this movie if they say they aren't impressed with Ridley Scott. Because they are full of shit. What a well crafted, hilarious and fun exploration of charters all wrapped up in a wonderful throwback con film with a wall to wall rat pack soundtrack.
What's not to love? The film balances three awesome story lines with all the drama, double crosses and twists it manages to feel like a simple and easy to follow movie experience that wraps in a tight little bow.
Cage is great here, Ridley is of course on fire and able to show just what a chameleon he is, the guys a pro. But the real star is Allison Lohman and the script. Awesome movie go watch it, this should be one of those films everyone has seen but unfortunately it didn't make any money and got no love from the Academy.
