Match Point sadly fails to hit the target. It's a world away from ace. What looks like a fun rom-com develops into both a lumbering painful comedy and the biggest mess-up of a movie in years particularly from Woody Allen.
The thriller element just doesn't fit in with all the unfunny jokes.
