Low-budget, Roger-Corman-esque, live-action adaptation of the popular "He-Man" cartoons manages to keep its head above water thanks to a serious-minded director, a watchable script and a wonderfully bombastic performance by Frank Langella as Skeletor.
A bad movie made by genuinely hard-working people. Pre-celebrity Courtney Cox appears as the damsel in distress.
