Review of Masters of the Universe (1987) by Ron — 27 Oct 2008
I loved this as a kid. Both the movie and the source material. Today, it's totally lame and is very evidently more based off of Jack Kirby's New Gods comics than He-Man and his buddies, but it's still awesome.
It scores an extra score for being filmed in Whittier, near my hometown. The music shop that gets destroyed is where I bought my first guitar.
