Review of Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003) by Peter P — 28 Apr 2010

Well put together,well cast and fairly believable film. I did not want to watch this when it first came out, but I thought I would give it a chance, and I am glad I did. The movie overall is a nice look back at this era of historical ocean warfare and although runs too long, really gives you a feeling of what it would be like.

Saying all that, I liked it, but not enough to watch it multiple times.
