Review of Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003) by Nate Q — 07 Dec 2013
Master and Commander plays as a nautical movie set during the time of Napolean. The characters almost play a bigger role in this movie than the plot, which is supposed to be a good thing I suppose. It doesn't play like most action and adventure movies though, so if you enjoy things with relentless action and silly plots, this probably isn't for you.
There also really should be a franchise with more sequels based on the ohter books. An artistic beautifly made movie that satsfies.
