Review of Masked and Anonymous (2003) by Mike — 03 May 2008
The people who gave this film bad reviews would not know a good film if one sat on there own head. If you prefer the type of movie where giant robots from space fight for the future of the planet then this film is not for you. No, this film requires a thought process and the ability to find meaning of the film within yourself.
What is so great about this film is that is is much like Bob Dylan's songs. A lot of layers, that had a lot of poetry, that had a lot of surrealism and was ambiguous and hard to figure out, like a puzzle. It's a film that is to inspire thought. That's what makes this film great and the soundtrack does not hurt it ether.
People who did not like this film probably thought that Apocalypse Now was boring.
