I got the vibe that Bogdanovich has no idea what Bikers can really be like, but put that aside, the boys story is at centre stage and his performance and the subtle problems he has to live with stay with you right through.
Cher gives a solid performance and regarless of the sentimental conclusion, it still is a better film than most people think.
