Review of M*A*S*H (1970) by David W — 18 Jun 2008
Don't be fooled, the movie is far more irreverent, edgy, and funnier than the TV show. A lot of the content won't seem controversial today (at least not intentionally), but considering when it was released it was pretty biting.
It also has nothing to do with Korea and is all about the Vietnam War. The shooting style of the movie is what still makes it unique today. I like the overlapping dialogue and lack of any real plot.
