Review of M*A*S*H (1970) by Ian F — 17 Dec 2007
This movie is still a breath of fresh air 37 years later. After decades of Vietnam movies focusing on the atrocities and depressing, blood soaked senless melodrama of war, to have a lighthearted, comedy war film is wonderful.
I love how this film has no linear plot or storyline, but instead observes this military camp and the various highjinks that go on there. And I thought the end was brilliant where, instead of scrolling credits on a black screen, they do it through the announcment speaker.
