Review of M*A*S*H (1970) by Dana — 03 Jul 2008
It took me a while to get into this film, but once it settled down it was a treat. The tone is satirical without being negative, the characters are all ridiculous without being unbelieveable and the comedy is clever without being too preachy.
The cast excell tremendously throughout (particularly Sutherland), and while we witness some of the horrors they deal with you still watch kind of wishing you were with them. This wont be to everyones tastes, but its good natured, good humoured and a very good watch.
