Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Daniel B — 10 Sep 2007
Should be called Kenneth Branagh's Frankenstein, as this movie veers horribly away from the novel in the last 20 mins of the movie. Other than that, it is a rather more faithful adaptation than any other movie version I've seen.
Perhaps that high standard is the reason I find the diversion so jarring and unnecessary.
