Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Toni H — 08 Dec 2008
Um, oh dear. Kenneth Branagh's script changes and direction make this over the top and melodramatic. However, his acting and especially De Niro's is very good. The things I certainly didn't appreciate were the slipping and sliding in the Jello stuff in a homoerotic sort of way.
And that scene with Elizabeth will haunt me forever.
