Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Robert B — 29 Dec 2009
Okay I will defend this movie. I will admit that it's not the greatest but really the only one that bothered me was that I felt it moved around a little too fast. It seemed to jump around too much.
As far as acting goes De Niro once again proves he can play any role. The role of Frankenstien as the sympathetic monster is a tough one to pull of but I feel he did a great job because I did feel sorry for him at times but I also was quickly reminded that he was a monster like when ripped out the girls heart.
I think this is a classic story that has a worthwhile movie to accompany it and should be watched by everyone at least once.
