Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Danny S — 14 Feb 2011
Under-rated and excellent film version of the novel. Sticks very close to the source material, with minor deviations. Mr. Branagh brings home the message of the novel (and does it quite well): DO NOT play God.
The film should have been rated PG-13, and deserves a better reputation than it has right now. Kenneth Branagh leads an all-star cast in this wonderful film. I highly recommend it.
