Review of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994) by Ellie D — 14 Mar 2012
Under rated classic movie, in my opinion far surpasses the original Frankenstein movie. Robert De Niro is an unlikely but excellent choice as Frankenstein. Like most of Kenneth Branagh's movies it is like his acting, very broad and over blown (which is why he usually does Shakespear movies and stage plays) but this subject caters to his talents.
This was the first DVD I ever got, this is the kind of movie that needs to be seen on a BIG screen.
