I always get teary when the kids recite their advertisement. They're essentially telling Mr. Banks that they want his attention but are ignored. Later, Mr. Banks, who has marched to the same routine and song for the majority of the film, changes his tune when he realizes what he's missing by shunning his children and decides to be there for them.
