I wanted to love this film, but I couldn't quite get there. the stop motion claymation is good, but not beautiful (see "fantastic mr. fox" for some of the best stop motion animation). the story is original, touching and DEEPLY depressing. i'll admit that I watched it in parts over the course of two days. so... proceed with caution.
