Review of Mary and Max (2009) by Mark N — 11 Mar 2012
Collette and Hoffman excel in this subtly-dark, black comedy, adult animation. The unappealing visuals left me wanting to walk away but the story is compelling and demands attention. I much prefer my emotional strings tugged by quality story telling than any manipulative disney-corrupted pixar tat any day.
