Review of Mary and Max (2009) by Isaac H — 29 Nov 2012
Mary and Max too often feels like it's adopted a depressing mood and muted color palette for the soul purpose of being artsy instead of using the facets to enhance what it has to offer. However, the film is undeniably original, often surprisingly funny and features some snappy writing, making for an experience that's inconsistent but memorable.
