Review of Mary and Max (2009) by Gordon B — 31 May 2014
Never watched a harder to watch movie than this. There likely hasn't been quite as dark a movie as this in the "children" format. I had to have a palette cleanser of "G. I. Joe" immediately afterward lest I throw myself off a bridge.
Dark, depressing, but touching in a "damn, the world is fucked" kind of way.
