Review of Marwencol (2010) by Marc L — 06 Jul 2011
An attack perpetrated by five men leaves Mark Hogancamp with a serious brain injury. Following the incident, he is left unable to communicate, eat, or walk. This fascinating documentary reveals how Mark inadvertently becomes an outsider artist to get his life back on track, and to cope with reality as well as his human relationships.
To reveal any specifics would spoil things, but I assure you Mark is not only talented on many levels, but these skills were only made possible as a result of his physical and psychological scarring. Available on Netflix Instant Watch.
